This all stared with a love for disposable cameras. I grew up with the Southern California backdrop and am aware that most of us don't go to the beach for only sun - we go for the feeling. My photos are about the unspoken pull that keeps bringing us back to the ocean. Walking on sand, getting lost watching waves crash and the nostalgia of surfboards. The beach brings me into the moment, and this is why I shoot.
